The Food
Ruby Tuesday has a diverse menu with all sorts of sandwiches, salads pasta dishes and even steaks. If you’re on a diet, or looking to bulk up for a marathon you should be fine either way. Everything tastes great to the point where you don’t realize you are eating at a chain restaurant; it’s like they have unique chefs who put their own twist on every dish. They have above average hamburgers, even having their won “Triple Prime Burger” made with top quality meat to give their burger an edge over the competition.
The biggest selling point, of course, is the famous Ruby Tuesday salad bar. Always fresh and always stocked with a wide variety of everything you would want on a salad, this is the perfect addition to any meal. Just walk up, pile as much of whatever you want onto your plate and eat until your food arrives (I’ve been known to go up more than twice).
The Track Record
The food is consistently good whenever I go, and the service is consistently friendly. I usually get the salad bar, regardless of what meal I choose, and everything is always fresh and they are fast to replace whatever runs out. I have never had a single incidence where anything was sub-par in quality or where I had a bad waiter (in fact, their waiting staff is quite talented).
The Service
The service is simply awesome. It’s as if every waiter or waitress rehearses in front of the mirror, trying to find out how to put on the friendliest face and be as fast as possible. If I ask for something, it’s on the table in just moment. But what I appreciate most about the service is their willingness to customize what you order without giving a hard time, of that “fine, but just this time” sort of attitude.
The Price
Ruby Tuesday is priced quite well for the quality of the food and the atmosphere. A burger and fries will run you the stand $8 dollars, give or take, while a paste dish or a steak and mash potatoes may cost in the $10-14 range. The portions are great and the food is delicious, so the prices are fantastic considering everything. Also, it’s only $2.99 to add a salad bar to any meal and you just can’t beat that.
Overall Assessment
Ruby Tuesday is definitely the best chain sit-down restaurant anywhere. The food is consistently good, the service is always excellent and with the salad bar to complement whatever delicious meal you choose, there is no reason why you wouldn’t want to eat here. Go with a date, friends or family and enjoy yourself either way.
